     Welcome to 5th grade! This will be my 8th year teaching and my fourth year at Ballentine Elementary School. I graduated from Winston- Salem State University, UNC- Chapel Hill and North Carolina State University where I received my teaching certification. 
     Teaching has always been a passion of mine. My goal this year is to make sure all my  students overcome any challenges and gain the confidence to succeed in their academics. 
     In my free time, I enjoy coaching cheerleading and judging cheerleading events, watching sports (football), exercising,painting, reading & writing, spending time with my family and friends, and traveling. I am excited to get to know each of you this school year. We will be in full gear for a year of learning and fun!
